Not one to outdo itself, Capcom has officially announced a rerelease to Marvel VS Capcom 3. Yes, Capcom has had a long history of releasing and rereleasing games and here is another addition to that. The new Marvel VS Capcom 3 will be called Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 and it will come out this November. The game will also retail for around $39.99. Though, that's not the meat of the story. The kick is Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 will feature 12 new playable characters from both the Marvel And Capcom universes. So far the 12 characters have been revealed to be:
Capcom
Strider Hiryu
Firebrand
Vergil
Frank West
Phoenix Wright
Nemessis
Marvel
Ghost Rider
Hawkeye
Doctor Strange
Iron Fist
Rocket Raccoon
Nova
The game will also feature other enhancements and new features to supposedly improve the games balance and online functionality. One of those new features is a spectator mode where you can watch live online matches. While it is kind of a drag to see Capcom release this as a stand alone game rather than as DLC, one can not help but be excited for the new characters. I mean Strider, Phoenix Wright, and Rocket Raccoon already have peeked my curiosity. I mean sure the blue bomber Mega Man still makes no appearance yet again, but I think I've come to terms with it. Although, it is kind of weird seeing of the characters make it into this game when they were previously denied from being in Marvel VS Capcom 3 due to various issues.
