So last Saturday, I went to San Jose to celebrate my Friend Ronnie's birthday, and then I went to Campbell to meet up with the fellow BAAU members for Marcin's farewell party. Here are a few snapshots I took from both . . .

Twenty Seven Part Deux: The Final Resolution

Yesterday, I met up with Andrew, Ronnie, and Kevin to complete my "celebrate birthday with friends" objective. We decided to have a nice little lunch at T.G.I. Friday's. I even got myself this awesome little brownie ala mode dessert. Granted we did some misinterpretation with the waitress about what the free birthday dessert was since we got charged for this. But whatever, I enjoyed it and it's only once a year so it's no big deal.

Twenty Seven

You may already know this, but in case you didn't, today was my birthday. I have officially become 27 years old. Which means I'm 3 years away from being 30. Yeah, that also means I'm old as dirt. So today was a day chock full of highs and lows. I won't really delve too much into the lows. Though I will say that my mom and I went out for lunch and that was nothing short of a disaster in many ways. To summarize I will say that we got lost, argued, ate at a restaurant that made my mom sick, almost got hit by another car, and argued with my mom some more.

Though dinner at Gerry's Grill with my mother and father was a lot better. Granted when we called up my father, he said he had completely forgotten that today was my birthday. Which he then blamed on the stress of work. I'll give him the benefit of doubt on that one. I mean at least he was able to make it out to dinner so it's all well and dandy. Other than that, it was pretty uneventful day. Oh and to all the people wishing me happy birthday on Facebook, thank you. I really appreciate all the kind wishes ^___^. Well I think they're all kind O___o.

Today I Am 26

So after I dropped my mom off at work this morning, I went to Denny's and had a free birthday Grand Slam. Well . . . supposedly free. There still was charges for the drink and a tip for the waitress. So I guess this officially starts off my first day of being 26. There's nothing to do at the moment, so I might go back to sleep. I only had like 2 and a 1/2 hours sleep last night or something like that, since I had to wake up early to drive my mom to work. Since, I don't have to pick her up till 3:30 I have a lot of down time. Oh and the day doesn't end here, there's dinner with the guys later.
