BAAUBQ 2011

Yesterday was the annual BBQ for the Bay Area Artists Unite group. While it might not have been as interesting as the previous year, it was still a good event. I'm still sunburned in some areas from it, but I guess it's to be expected. After the BBQ Bruce, Jason, and I assisted fellow BAAU member Huang in filming some scenes for some movie review video he was working on. I ended up playing the role of "guy doing the running man". I wonder how that's going to turn out. I didn't really take any pics of the BAAUBQ this year, but here a couple shots for the sake of it:

BAAUBQ 7/17/2010

Yesterday, I met up with the guys from BAAU for their annual "BAAUBQ". This was held at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont and there was lots of good food, fun times, and wacky shenanigans to be had.







There were quite a few ducks at this park. Man were they some ugly mother f******















Apparently Steve was designated to be personal umbrella holder for "little Jade" so she could draw. The task was later transferred to Pocky/Jackie and then Marcin and then back to Jackie.







This is the first time hearing that it's actually all based on this book O_o.



Apparently at some point the ugly ducks decided to just have sex right then and there O_O.



Which lasted a few minutes, then a third duck came and chased them both off.

So after a while, I guess we were bored. So a bunch of us decided to go and take over the playground.



Yesterday, I met up with guys from BAAU for their annual "BAAUBQ". There was lots of good food, fun times, and wacky shenanigans.











So after BAAUBQ ended, a few of us went to a Starbucks and some others went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. After some time a small number of us regathered at "the BAAUFICE". After About being there for a couple hours I had to go home since I had to wake up in the morning to drive my mom to work.



All in all it was a pretty fun and eventful day ^_^!

Hungry For Some BBQ Pork Buns

What can I say, I'm a sucker for these things. One of the better food discoveries I've had this decade. Whether it's baked or steamed, it is a delectable experience if done right. Although this is mot to be confused with a pork bun or pork siopao. Those kind of buns have different insides. I don't but I feel it helps set up a cheerful mood for Christmas which is tomorrow. So yeah, let's get the holiday celebrations started(if you haven't started them yet already)!
