Christmas Escapades 2010

So for Christmas I started the day by attempting to make it to the 8:00 AM Christmas mass at St. Anne Church here in Union City, CA. Though I guess I didn't wake up early enough or got dressed in time, because I was only able to make it to the last 10 mins of that mass.

So after that didn't go quite as planned, I went back home to do some last minute things and kill time before heading off to my dad's place. When I got there, he wasn't ready yet so I ended up killing time waiting for him by watching movies on his On Demand. First, I tried to watch Pan's Labyrinth, but got bored early on and switched it to The Marine. Which was pretty terrible. While it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, John Cena is a terrible actor. Also this movie leads you to the belief that you can survive most explosions that incur in your immediate environment. Although if anything I thought the bad guys were somewhat hilarious. So once my dad was ready, he, Jo and I went to have lunch at Newark Buffet.

So after lunch, we went back to his place and watched more movies on his On Demand. We watched The Protector, which I thought was pretty good, and we watched The Expendables, which I thought was good for what it is. Even though some of the plot made no sense, or how they're all magically friends again with Dolph Lundgren who supposedly was killed earlier in the movie because he tried to kill them. For dinner, we had lumpia and fried egg. Then I capped off the night watching some American Ninja Warrior and explaning to my dad how to do some things on Facebook. That's pretty much it.

Christmas/Weekend Recap

Hey Lucky Ones,

I haven't updated since my Christmas greeting post, and I would like to fill you guys in on how I spent the time. So Christmas morning, I woke up at 9:00AM to sounds of rain, wind, loud banging. The banging was coming from our overhang in the backyard. One of the bricks we were using to keep the plastic on the over hang that was loose had fallen off. Which goes to show that the wind must have been pretty darn strong to move a brick. So I woke up, called up my aunt and wished her a Merry Christmas, checked some things on the computer, and then took a shower and got dressed.

So first place I went to for the day was St. Anne Church in Union City, because hey it's the birthday of Jesus Christ. After church, I went and met up with my dad at his house. To my surprise we ended up going to AA China Buffet in Hayward for lunch. I guess he chose it because it was near his house. So we went there, spend like 2-3 hours and loaded up on food. After that, we went back to his place and spent some time watching his TV with limited selection of cable channels. We ended up watching TFC, until he decided to have me help him with computer stuff. Which was some simple stuff like cutting and pasting files, scanning, and setting up a slide show on his Multiply account. Which ended up taking up a lot of the afternoon and night. For dinner, I ended up having a piece of chocolate cake and some hot cocoa. Then I pretty much went home. As for Christmas gifts, all I got was some money and a full tank of gas.

Now after Christmas was over, I spent the weekend making some minor changes to the site. The First thing I did was add Add This buttons to the site. Now you guys can Stumble or Digg various things on the site. Then I also add a Twitter widget to the home page so you can get my Twitter updates if I ever think of something to put on there. Next change I made was to modify the store so that now you can view much larger versions of the product shots photos. So far that's all the changes I have made to the web site. Also, I would like to remind all of you that Thursday January 1, 2009 is the last day of the holiday sale. So if you were planning to buy one of the shirts you should do so as soon as possible. So yeah that's what's new so far.

Oh and I would also like to send congratulations to Ian and Samantha on the birth of their baby boy Skye Cheung on Christmas Eve!
