Korean Canadian singer G.NA has released a new music video for her song "Top Girl". I find the song to be quite catchy and enjoy the fact there are guitar riffs used in this song. G.NA's singing in the song is also quite good, granted it really doesn't show off the full potential of her vocal ability. Though, I guess the song was meant to be more fun and catchy than a showcase for her vocal talent. So I guess we can let that slide for now, since this song will make you want to be on top. Wait . . . that doesn't sound right . . .
The music video for top girl is pretty straight forward, she sings and dances in various locations. These locations range from some kind of dressing room, a video tapped stage performance, in the middle of the street, some room, some room with rain, and some stage with fireworks. That is pretty much what there is to see in this video. However, I will note there is something to be said of the scenes of her driving a Ferrari.
Apparently it is OK for G.NA to drive in the middle of the road. Also,it appears that Albuquerque was in Korea this whole time. Somebody should contact Bugs Bunny and inform him this right away.
A Ferrari is high speed exotic sports car. Which means that the car should be going very fast. G.NA is driving this car with the top down, yet considering the speed she should be going at her hair is not even blowing. Either she is using some pretty good hair spray or she has powers to defy the laws of physics. Seriously . . . what is this?
G.NA is shown to be wearing a flower dress while she's driving this Ferrari on the freeway . . .
. . . but when she gets to the city she is now wearing some kind of black dress and red headband. If she was driving a car this whole time, at what point did she find the time to change her clothes? Is she that skilled to drive and change her clothes at the same time? Did she stop and change on the side of the road? Either it's bad editing or they just want us to fill in the blanks ourselves.
Outside of that, I guess there really isn't that much else to nitpick about in this video. Oh I'm not done yet though. There is still one thing I want to touch on. Now don't get me wrong and flood the comments for this post with rage and anger, but is there something off with how G.NA looks. Again don't get me wrong, I don't think G.NA is ugly or anything. Though, as I watch this video there is something quite awkward to me with some of her facial expressions.
I'm leave it up to you guys and girls to make your own comments or judgements based on those images. I myself am going to take the high road and just leave it at that, even though my better judgement says not to. Though to lighten the mood, she looks better in shots like this . . .
But seriously there are so many odd facial expressions in this music video that it's not even funny. I don't think age is going to treat her well. To watch the video for yourself, check out the video below.
