1. Seishun ni, Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da!
I think this track is a decent opener for the album. The beginning portion of the song is a bit so so but it picks up greatly when it hits the chorus. The energy in this song really picks up by that point and you can definitely hear in the instrumentals and vocals. Although I dunno if I quite like the background cheering that shows up towards the end of the track.
2. I do it
Here is another track with energetic instrumentals and here the vocals sound more "mature". I say mature because I feel in the first song their vocals were more "cute" sounding. While both songs were energetic and what not, I feel this track has a more serious tone in it.
3. Ki More Hi no JOHNNY
This song starts off a tad mellow but the back beat speeds up the songs pace soon enough. In this track other instruments are more in the background for the most part. More focus seems to be placed on the vocals and drum beat. However, there is a decent guitar solo in the middle of the track.
4. Namida no MUKOU
The instrumentals in this song have a different flavor when compared to the previous songs. There definitely seems to be more inclusion of other string instruments and more screeching guitars. Almost adding an almost "outer spacey sound". I don't exactly why but outer space comes to mind when I hear some of the instrumental parts. Also the vocals have a tad sense of drama and emotion to it
5. Otomegokoro Hey Hey Hey
This track is just a fun and cute song. There isn't really any other way to put it.
6. Nakanaide
This song is basically a slow song/ballad. I don't really care for ballads and this track isn't one of my exceptions to that. I mean sure it picks up a little and is a decent song but not really my kind of thing usually.
7. effective line
Even though this track is only 1:17 I feel it effectively speeds up the pace again after the slow balled track it follows. This could also be the fastest past track on the entire album. So yeah it really is a effective song.
8. Sweet Blue
Here is another energetic track and the vocals are very emotive and catchy. A good track overall.
9. Tokai no Mori
A more mellow acoustic influenced track. It's a decent track if anything . . .
10. Shiawase no Oka de Kurashitai
A slow acoustic song. As stated many times before I don't really have a taste for this stuff.
11. My Mistake
This song switches and back and forth from quiet sections to more emotional vocals and powerful instrumental sections. Not bad . . .
12. Hitahira no Hanabira
The chorus is good and is catchy and the back beat is strong and persistent. A good song for the most part.
13. Aozora Very good days!!
I dunno even though the track goes back to a more "cute" style of vocals, I feel this is in my opinion the best track on the album. The opening instrumentals easily draw me and the rest does not disappoint. While the vocals aren't as emotional and powerful as a lot of the other suns. I feel the fun energetic and somewhat cute vocals work for a song like this and the "La La La's" at the end are catchy.
Tracks I Recommend
- Aozora Very good days!!
- effective line
- Hitahira no Hanabira
- Seishun ni, Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da!
- Namida no MUKOU
- I do it
- Tokai no Mori
Considering all of the J-Rock albums I've listened to, I would have to rate this album as average. The album has it's high and low points but nothing on the album really stands out that strongly to me other than 2-3 songs.
